Boy Scout Troop 9, Edmeston, NY

The Burlington Flats Fish & Game Club is the proud sponsor of Boy Scouts of America (BSA) Troop 9 from nearby Edmeston. The troop meets in our main clubhouse every Thursday evening from 6pm to 8pm year round (except on regular club meeting nights, which are the third Thursday of every month). They also have overnight camp outs at various times throughout the year.

So, if you are interested in joining one of the best youth organizations in the world, please come out and visit Troop 9. You'll have lots of fun and learn a great deal while doing so. They look forward to meeting you.

Important Safety Information
There is no shooting allowed when the Boy Scouts are on club property. This is because they could literally be anywhere on our property hiking, camping and working on merit badges. They could be downrange and out of sight to shooters. Therefore, no shooting is permitted after 6pm on Thursdays (with the exception of Sporterifle shoots which take place indoors and are pre-coordinated with the scouts for safety purposes).

In addition to Thursday evenings, there is also no shooting whenever the scouts hold overnight camp outs and other periodic events. Always be sure to check the club calendar and Facebook to be advised of these events.
